My name is Yuval Cohen.
I have been playing Jazz and Classical music professionally for decades in various constellations on many stages. I lived in New York for 10 years and studied there at the Mannes College of Music and NYU.
Fourteen years ago, I accepted a teaching position in my hometown of Jerusalem and began my journey as a teacher. Since then, I have taught hundreds of students, and have taken many of them along the route of becoming jazz musicians.
Today, they inspire others with their playing.
Let me do the same for you.
During the lockdowns of the pandemic, I spent dozens of hours going over my pedagogial ideas and strategies which I developed and evolved through these years of teaching experience. I consolidated them and organized them methodically into this well-structured course, Unveiling Jazz Improvisation.
